Be Brave Benjamin – Error! Lo-Fi Recordings

Be Brave Benjamin makes compact indie-pop songs with childlike instrumentation and lowest of lo-fi production (read: simple, not noisy). But the aforementioned Benjamin is nothing akin to a pussy, wussy or wimp. Instead, his songs have a surprising toughness, a kind of Calvin Johnson-esque baritone without an ounce of the dreaded “lilt”.

Minimalistic pop songs.
