Starfrosch is a user driven MP3 kitchen and bedroom blog, with podcasts. Share, Download and Vote for your favorite music. A meeting place for music aficionados, DJs, podcasters and mp3 bloggers.Which music will be displayed on the frontpage
Once a music track or a video is shared it goes to the queue, the starfrosch moderator team approves it and you start voting in the "new music" queue to push it to the frontpage and the charts. Starfrosch is user driven, it is up to you to contribute.
Which music will be in the charts?
You like the music? Give it a star. The charts reflects your opinion. Register, login and vote or just subscribe to our yearly, monthly or weekly charts.
Can I subscribe to all the music by podcast?
You can subscribe to every category through RSS. Look for the orange icons at the bottom of every genre page. But keep in mind: You will never get all the music through the podcast feeds, you will only get a small selection. You want to get all? Surf around, download it and drop some comments.
Are all podcasts available on iTunes?
No. Only a very small selection of our Tracks and podcasts are available on iTunes. You can get them only on our website.
What are Recommendations?
Starfrosch once learned from your voting and recommended more music gems. Meanwhile we prefer human beings and sent the robots back home.

Can i use the music in my own podcast?
Of course. All music tagged with the Creative Commons Licenses can be safely played on your podcast radioshow. Please get in touch with your local rights collecting society and check, if you need a podcast license for the performance rights. We give our best to make sure our Creative Commons tracks are royalty free, but you can't rely on starfrosch. It's your responsibility. All rights reserved tracks are free for download, but can't be reused without the permission of the right holders.
Can i burn a CD?

Starfrosch is a worldwide network (What else? It's internet.) of multiplicators where artists, labels, netlabels, djs and music lovers meet.

The music from the charts is automaticaly sent to the music database of DMD², one of the biggest webradio operators in Switzerland. Those tracks get the attention of webradios like iP-radio from Switzerlands biggest uncool free newspaper 20 Minutes. Switzerlands smallest (do we have to say cool?) independent radio station Rasa also produces a radio show called starfrosch (that absolutly doesn't suck).
